Works

Inspired by the lush and calming feeling that I get from seeing pictures of Italy, I decided to create this environment. Through the alley, I wanted to capture the feeling of a traveler that visited Sicily, with its fruit stands, especially lemons, and lots of foliage. It is as if the traveler takes a peek at their daily life. As the traveler moves through the tunnel, he discovers more surprises to the area, as the tunnel is connected to the restaurant area.

This piece was mainly modeled in Maya, while the stairs are sculpted in ZBrush. The vegetation are done using a combination of Speedtree and Maya's Paint Effects. This was lighted and rendered using Maya's Arnold.
